3-11 RN Supervisor
No Weekends!
The Regency House of Wallingford is a 130-bed skilled nursing facility that has just completed a multi-million dollar construction and renovation project. We have an opening for a free-floating 3-11 RN Supervisor, Monday thru Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Make decisions relevant to the operation and management of the facility during the assigned shift
• Makes decisions concerning staffing in the facility i.e. replacing call-outs, reassigning personnel when appropriate
• Understand responsibilities concerning infection control, safety, accident and fire prevention
• Makes rounds and consults with Charge Nurses concerning new admissions, resident acuity and unit status.
• Function under the supervision of the DNS and collaborate with Licensed staff to develop and maintain nursing care plans.
• Provides supervision to Charge Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, assures assignments are completed timely and holds daily shift report.
• Contacts resident’s physician and family to notify them of a resident’s change of condition, accident / incident and changes in care plans
